AZ-TESOL (Arizona TESOL) is the Arizona state
affiliate of TESOL, the international professional organization for educators in the field of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Since our organization began in 1954 as the Arizona Bilingual Council, it has provided over five decades of service.

AZ-TESOL's members work with learners of English in Arizona's public schools, colleges, universities, and adult education programs, and they also serve as teacher trainers, researchers, and administrators.

AZ-TESOL is divided into four regions centered in Flagstaff and the Navajo
Nation (Northern), Phoenix (Central), Yuma (Southwest), and Tucson
(Southeast). Representatives of each region serve on AZ-TESOL's Board
of Directors, plan local miniconferences, and provide help with membership and other needs. For more information, select from the menu at the bottom of this page.
